1.61 London feature The Heritage Mattress
1.61 London was established by brothers Alexander and Michael Christou, who both come from a property background as a Luxury Interior Designer and a Property Developer in the Mayfair area of London. This set them in good stead to launch their business.
The name 1.61 comes from the mathematical term; 'The Golden Ratio', which is difficult to explain but you can read about it here.
The Golden Ratio has been used for at least 4,000 years in art and design – some say Ancient Egyptians used the principle to build the pyramids.
Today the Golden Ratio is in music, art and design. The brothers applied it to their business for 'creating aesthetic perfection'.
1.61 London focus on Interior Design, Property Sourcing and Property Development. It was on a Mayfair property that they chose to collaborate with Glencraft.
