Many people think that when their dog is asleep, moving their legs, that they're dreaming of running through fields. This could be true, but your dog may also be having loving dreams of their owners.
It's been reported that dogs are likely to dream about what happened to them during the day. As dogs are often extremely attached to their owners, they could be dreaming of your face, your smell and of playing with you.
Humans act out in our dreams during REM sleep, which is the same thing when dogs move and act out running in their dreams.
